You've likely tried everything, even procrastinated, before considering therapy. When your own efforts at self-help aren't enough, it's often because something internal is getting in your way that either you don't realize or is difficult to change.

I work best if you're curious about yourself and want to understand your difficulties more deeply - whether depression, anxiety, a failed relationship or wanting more satisfaction in life. Curiosity will help you and I better see and understand aspects of your emotional life that may not be readily apparent and yet are creating difficulties and interfering with your happiness or success.

My approach is direct and collaborative and my style is thoughtful, warm and engaging. In addition to working with women for a range of issues from self-esteem to infertility, I also enjoy working with men - most often struggling with relationship or career issues.

Treatment Modalities:
I have over 13 years of clinical experience working with individuals and couples, including work in private practice and community mental health settings. I provide psychotherapy, couples counseling and psychoanalysis.

Insurance Accepted:
If your health insurance carrier allows you to choose an out-of-network provider (generally a PPO or POS plan), I can provide you with a statement of services so that you can seek reimbursement. You may want to check with your carrier to verify coverage for out-of-network providers and for rates of reimbursement.
